The Vector W8 Is the Craziest Supercar Ever Made

This supercar is one of the rarest ones with only 20 units ever being produced. I have to say this older supercar has the lowest profile in any cars that I have ever seen. I was surprised to see Doug able to get himself into it. I am most impressed by the "Boost" button and there is a min-max knob to adjust the amount of boost (like overclocking the CPU) . I am not sure about the layout of certain things inside the car such as the gear and parking break levers. The panel displays are aviation styled (almost like a computer flight stimulator), besides the main screen on the display, there are three more screens which you can select via the buttons above the gear lever on the left of the driver seat next to the car door. There are way too many buttons on the panel , as Doug says , the designer is trying to mimmick the layout of an aircraft panel , instead of using multi-function buttons , each button is allocated a single function. The car designer made an attempt to have more storage than most supercars , one in the front covered by a flimsy-looking panel and one at the back behind the engine. The narrow slitted back window of the car does limit the back view of the driver (dangerous in my opinion) . The location of the pedals (break and accelerator) are just too close to the passenger side , accidents are waiting to happen. The front turn signals are not too visible worsened by the fact that this car has a very low profile. Having mentioned all these negatives , I am still impressed with the design of the car with features ahead of the time (1989-1993 ?) , it has a CD changer (when CDs were still popular), heated seats (the seats can also be "blown up" with touch of a button) to give more support. The locations of the seats are adjustable via levers (as Doug says , the manufacturer "cheaped" out on that one). I am not a devoted fan of cars but I am impressed with Doug's enthusiasm.
