ZZZ-0001 ANDROMEDA KAI
MODIFIED AAA-0001 SHIP WITH ONE-MAN CREW, AUTOMATIC NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND HIGH MOBILITY COMBAT SYSTEM THAT REQUIRES CREW TO WEAR SPECIAL SUIT. LIKE THE DREADNOUGHT CLASS CARRIER, THE DUAL WAVE MOTION CANNONS ARE MODIFIED WITH BEAM SPLITTER TO ACHIEVE QUAD WAVE MOTION CANNONS.
The upgraded Andromeda is now equipped with a Quadruple Wave Motion Cannon using beam splitters as in Dreadnought class battleship. High Mobility system and automated navigation system are also employed. She can now be navigated by one person (namely Captain Yamanami ) with no crew, but Yamanami requires to wear special suit to accomodate the high mobility system. In Space Battleship Yamato 2202 , it is seen that Andromeda DX moves around with two Dreadnought battleships attached , one on each side of Andromeda. Yamato colour scheme is used in this upgraded Andromeda.
A ship with no crew ? Fully automated? I don't like this at all! It is the people that make the ship special like Yamato.
I don't think I like the colour scheme. i think the original colour works much better for Andromeda.

I like her original colour . I added the beam splitters to the Dual Wave Motion Cannons which becomes Quad Wave Motion Cannons. This design is really lame. The beam splitters are not just two pieces of plastic , I use the promotional photos of the upcoming 1/1000 Andromeda DX as reference and added some mechanical details to the beam splitters.
