宇宙戦艦 アンドロメダ 級 アクエリアス SPACE BATTLESHIP ANDROMEDA CLASS AQUARIUS

     I have to make a correction to the name of the modelled by 小林誠 , I mistakenly thought it was an Andromeda DX but in fact , according to this picture that I forgot I posted previously in my blog , it is Andromeda class Aquarius.

I do not know if this name is to be used in vol. 6 of Space Battleship Yamato 2202  but a similar ship appears in it .

    This ship also has an experimental Wave Motion Cannon (dual) like Ginga?




     I am glad to see the stabilizer in the front hull of the ship is gone. I always thought it obstructs the firing of the front cannon.

     This ship is obviously modelled with 1/1000 Andromeda's hull  and Ginga's bridge but I do enjoy the modelling by Kotobashi san.

     I did a little modification (though not permanent) myself - adding a "beam splitter" to the 1/1000 Andromeda to make is a DX version.
