Even though it is towable but how easy it is driving around with this thing? Does it require special permit?
This is another tiny house located at somewhere in Alaska, U.S.
The tiny house is 24 feet long , 8.5 feet wide and 13 feet tall.
With a push of a button, the bed slide down to the living room area.
The couch in the living area can be re-arranged to for another bed.
This would be a great place to get away for a while but not for long term living for me.
This is the part I don't really like, the shower and toilet arrangement is too crammed, and the toilet is just too close to the kitchen.
For all these tiny houses, keep in mind that one should take building codes, regulations, land use type of legal matters in mind. In the States , I think the federal government has started to crack down on the building of these houses, imposing regulations and laws , etc. Obviously , they cost less than regular bigger houses and there are many things (legal and personal) that are sacrificed and must be considered before investing in one such living arrangement. Something like water / electricity / waste disposal / safety (in remote area) / communication technology to the outside world ( in case of emergency) must also be considered.
They interest me in how owners choose tiny houses over regular bigger houses and how they maximize the use of limited space without abandoning comfort. In most cases, these houses are located in some rural or less populated areas , probably for people who are looking for tranquility.
