Just took it out of the box after all these years （first version was released in 2006 ? ) and took a few photos. I am not a die-hard fan of Transformers but I find this toy fascinating - A humanoid form transforms into a sphere/ball/planet (conincidentally, many in the human populations have acheived the same form, sorry if I have offended anyone ^_^ ). Primus is probably one of the best mecha designs (though I would improve the feet design, instead of just "flaps" for the feet , I would make them solid chucks for the feet). This toy has three modes : robot , space ship and planet mode. The space ship mode is just a transformation state between robot and planet modes and does not exist in the anime.
This toy has a few versions with the latest one released in 2010. This one is the first Japanese version.

This is a customised version by Altezen , one of the best ones out there. He sold it to someone a while back. I think he did this BEFORE the official Takara Tomy 2010 repainted version whose colour scheme is quite similar to Altezen's. Personally, I am not brave enough to take it apart and repaint the whole thing. Does the trasnformation scratch the paint job?
