Bryce is continuing his tour in British Columbia , Canada , this time in Abbotsford.
It is a beautiful country-looking house on a 5-acre piece of land.I found that many of tiny house owners having their tiny houses on land that is either loaned or on parents' property. I wonder if the total cost , including the land (if they have to buy the land) , would be the same as buying a regular-sized house!?
The house is 30 feet in length, 8.5 feet wide and 13.5 feet in height. the interior looks large and comfortable but I think the owners can use the space above the kitchen for their bedroom instead of sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room (they also sacrifice their space for the two daughters' bedrooms). As the owners say, not having the upper space of the kitchen as loft gives a spacious feeling.
Again, composting toilet is not my preference and its location at the entrance of the bathroom will not be my choice. I wish there would be some technology in the future that we can "disintegrate" our waste , much like in Star Trek in which the transporter breaks up the object or living organism into molecules or quarks.
