It has been announced that Jamie Foxx will the Spawn (Al Simmons) and the Walking Dead's Greg Nicotero (also worked on Preacher and Sin City) and KNB EFX group will be responsible for its visual effects. In this upcoming Spawn movie, practical effects will be used instead of using heavy CGI effects.
No production start and release dates announced but Todd McFarlane is hoping filming will start in 2019.
