Well, the Colossal Titan didn't die like in the above two toy photos . There is no way Eren Titan form can defeat the Colossal Titan one on one.
Eren and Armin relied on "trick" to defeat the Colossal Titan. The trick is a combination of buying time , deflection and using Colossal's own high heat steam for their advantage.
Eren cut the Colossal Titan's nape and chopped off Bertolt's limbs and took him out of the Colossal Titan's body.
To cut the long story short, Levi decided to inject the Titan serum into Armin instead of Erwin, making Armin a Titan shifter who then ate Bertolt live , Armin then obtained Bertolt's Titan power. So Armin obtains the power of the Colossal Titan.

After Armin had Bertolt as a meal , he shifted back to the human form again and dreamed about Bertolt's Colossal Titan.......
So after "consuming" Bertolt, is Armin now the new Colossal (Armin) Titan ??
I thought Armin was a girl at first (with that hair cut) .
It looks like the whole thing about no human population live outsides the walls is a BIG FAT LIE!!!
Not only there are humans living outside the wall, they are living happily and have the technology of photography.
