This is an animation adaptation of one of the chapters of the old manga The Ultraman written by the late Uchiyama Mamoru (passed away in 1st December, 2011): Jackal vs Ultraman. Jackal was imprisoned in the Black Hole by Ultraman King, now he is returned for revenge.

Ending song 戦え！ウルトラマン (帰ってきたウルトラマン より)Fight ! Ultraman (from Return of the Ultraman) is sung by 団次郎 (帰ってきたウルトラマン、郷秀樹 / ウルトラマンジャック) Dan Jirou (Return of the Ultraman). This is actually an unused song for Return of the Ultraman.
