Some Hungarian-born entrepreneur named Gaber Orsos came up with the idea of combining the comfort of a luxury hotel room with the mobility of a yacht.
It is about 37 meters long with 1000 square meter of space; 6 bedrooms in 3-storey space. On-board electricity is provided by 160 square meters of solar power cells on the roof and wind generators. The combination of these power sources can provide around 18 kwh of electricity. 2 additional diesel engines can provide even more power. The floating island is equipped with miniature diesel engines and so it can not travel at sea for a long distance , it requires towboat or just more powerful boat to pull the boat to destinations.
In case you get stranded at sea, the on-board de-salination system can transform 12,000 litres of sea water into drinking water.
Besides the plants , for 6.5 millions US dollars , you get jacuzzi, BBQ, sun loungers , minibar , dining room and an aquarium.
So far, this boat is in high demand from customers all over the world including from China.
But this is nothing compared with this super yacht - STREETS OF MONACO, 700 MILLION BRITISH POUNDS PRICE TAG!!
155 meter long , with four decks . There are seven guest rooms each with its own reception room, bathroom, dressing room ,bedroom and balcony.
