PRAYING MANTIS: THE FEMALE EATS THE MALE DURING COPULATION. IT IS SAID A HEADLESS MALE MANTIS COPULATES BETTER BECAUSE OF THE INSTINCTIVE ACTION OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM WHEN THE HEAD IS SEVERED . MANTIS EATS FLIES , SMALL LIZRADS , SMALL SNAKES, FROGS AND BIRDS. A TOTAL PREDATOR.
