STAR WARS EP 8 - ROSE?

It looks there is a new character named Rose Tico in Star Wars VIII, portrayedby Kelly Marie Tran.

The above article says this is the first woman of "color " in a leading role ? What "colour" she has?

AND technically , this is NOT the first time a woman of "color" in Star Wars movies , remember Jabba's dancer - Oola the Twi'lek dancer? She is green. Ok, she is not in leading role but definitely the lead dancer !




I can't stand the naming of charcters in the new Star Wars Trilogy.  They spent no efforts in name creations!

First we have Kylo (I thought it was the same as Kilo as in Kilograms), Rey (why not Hey!? ), Snoke (the worst , why didn't they call him Smoke!?) , BB-8 (not BBQ) and now Rose !?

I wonder if there will be  Dorothy ,  Blanche and Sophia (The Golden Girls) in EP IX!?

Why is Rose having a 60s hairdo ?
